As easy as 1, 2, 3...

The three steps you need to take before you can build!

1

Existing House Survey

Once the survey has been scheduled we would visit your property and spend a few hours taking measurements and photographs of the existing dwelling. We will require access to all the rooms of the property and garden land We will then use this information to draw up accurate existing plans and elevations.

2

Design & Planning

Design options are drawn up of the proposed design, often more than one option is produced for you. Once you are happy with the proposed design, the drawings are then finalised and submitted to the local council to achieve planning permission. If the work can be carried out using permitted development rights, then the drawings are submitted to the council for a Lawful Development Certificate (LDC).

3

Building Regulations.

After achieving planning approval from the council, building regulation drawings can be produced. These drawings are what your builder would use to build your structure. Often a structural engineer is required to provide calculations for steel beams etc.
These drawings are then submitted to building control for checking and approval.

🏠

Work Commences.

Once planning and building regulations have been approved, your builder is in a position to to commence working on your project.
